Shoreline Counselling is seeking a hard-working, professional and committed individual who enjoys working with the public and who is business minded. The role is two-fold: office administration/bookkeeping and reception.
In the role of office administration/bookkeeping, this person would report directly to the owners of the practice. For this part of the role, we are seeking someone with experience using Quickbooks and who is familiar with CRA processes for payroll and GST remittance and to perform the daily/weekly/monthly bookkeeping responsibilities listed below, for both office locations. Additionally, this person would be supporting the owners with administrative and operational tasks.
- Processing accounts receivable
- Payroll/month end for employees and contractors
- Bank feed
- Account reconciliations
- Payroll and GST remittances
In the role of receptionist, this person would report to our Director of Client Care. The role involves interacting with clients who are looking for counselling support and managing the schedules of the counsellors in the office. This part of the role requires a compassionate and caring demeanor.
The position would be 40 hours a week and the best suited candidate would be able to split their time between offices Vancouver and Fort Langley. We approximate that 15-20 hours a week would be dedicated to bookkeeping/administration and 20-25 hours a week would be dedicated to reception and client care. Compensation for this position is $47,500/annually. We will be provided a health spending account of $2500 per year.
