Job Posting: Bookkeeper, Wood Manufacturing Company – Langley (Confidential)

A well-established and stable manufacturer has an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Bookkeeper to join our team. Reporting directly to the President, you will handle all aspects of full cycle bookkeeping, administration, customer service and production tracking. The ideal candidate will be a key member of the team with the opportunity to use your experience to contribute to the overall success of the company.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Full Cycle Bookkeeping
Accounts Receivable / Payable
Preparing Monthly Financial Statements & Trial Balances
Inventory Control Reports
Production Reports
Bank and Credit Card Reconciliation
Payroll / T4 / Remittances
GST/HST Return Preparation
WCB Return Preparation
Office Administration
Completing Customs/Export Documents
Answering Phone
Maintaining Client and Company Records
As Directed by Management


Proactive thinker who enjoys solving problems and takes ownership of their results
Excellent knowledge of Sage 50 Premium bookkeeping software
At least 3 years’ experience working as a Full Cycle Bookkeeper
3 years’ (preferred) experience in a manufacturing or construction environment with inventory control and production tracking duties
Familiar with Currency Conversion
Very good MS Office Knowledge
Excellent Command of English, Both Written and Verbal

Remuneration: $26/hr plus benefits
