Creative Conversation Topic: Why Create Beauty?

Art Project: Feel the radiance of the seasons through 4-quadrant window painting. Learn how to change light and colour to reflect the seasons.

These 3-hour sessions are for anyone who wants to develop their capacity for creative expression, and creative thinking, along with developing their skills as emerging artists. These classes are designed to explore various ways of breaking through the barriers to our creativity and opens new creative inspiration to take on a bigger game in our artistic creations. Supply lists for canvas and paints will be provided to registrants.

Instructor Bio:

Joanne’s focus is on developing adult art classes and retreats which open new and engaged artists to possibility, resourcefulness, and empowerment in their creativity. Creative Canvas painting classes are designed to instruct in acrylic painting and textile art processes and techniques, and to engage in creative conversations and mentorship. JD Access Creative is a home studio where sharing in collaborative art processes with community participants, and art process development occurs. Art series generated include: “Discovering Surrey Parks”, BC mountains and wildlife, “Opening the Doors”, expressive abstracted works and a new “Family Legacy” textile art series.
