Is your digital photo collection on your computer or on scattered memory cards a disorganized mess? Would you like an easy way to bring order to the chaos? Come learn how easy it is to organize and edit your digital photos using an amazing FREE program called Picasa.
Picasa is a program owned by Google. Even though Google has “officially” discontinued this program (because they want everyone to now upload their photos to the Internet instead), Picasa is still available to download, and is the best photo organizer available.
Your Instructor will show you how you can still download and use this incredible program. This hands-on workshop will show you just how useful this program is, introducing you to the basics of organizing and editing your photos. Editing a photo includes such things as resizing for email, cropping, red eye removal, retouching, adjusting lighting, adding filters like soft focus, and many other possibilities that will help make your photos look better than they ever did before. Sample photos for use in class will be provided.
Your Instructor, Nick Vanderven, teaches Digital Media classes and is the IT Administrator at Credo Christian High School.
