Microsoft Excel Level 1

Description

Need to sort large amounts of information in a hurry? No problem! Let this class show you how to make manipulating lists, tables, and more a simple and easy process! Microsoft Excel is the spreadsheet program found in the Microsoft Office suite of programs. It is the most popular spreadsheet program in the world today. This course teaches students how to work with worksheets and workbooks to analyze data using a variety of features to create, modify and format common business reports such as budgets, inventory reports, invoices, and charts. This course is designed for students who want to develop the skills necessary to create, edit, format, and print basic Microsoft Office Excel worksheets, and manage and audit numerical reports.

• Creating, opening, and saving a workbook
• Entering data in a worksheet
• Managing worksheets
• Renaming worksheets
• Inserting or deleting worksheets
• Moving or copying worksheets
• Editing your data
• Inserting and deleting rows and columns
• Cutting, copying, and pasting information
• Formatting your worksheet
• Printing your worksheet
• Creating and editing simple formulas
• Using common functions
• Using absolute and relative cell references.

Prerequisite: Computer Basics Level 2 or equivalent.

LIVESTREAMING CLASSES: Textbook pick up will be available 1 week before the class starts, or it can be mailed via Canada Post for $20.00.
