“Hands down, the best decision I ever made was to take a leap and further my education with FVCE. My decision to take the Event Planning course came at a time in my life when I knew I needed change. I was unhappy in my current job and the effects of that were taking a toll on other aspects of my life. When Barb Nelson walked into the classroom on the first day of class, I knew that not only was I in the presence of an industry expert, but also of a kind, patient and understanding human being. I spent the next 6 weeks soaking in as much information as I possibly could and inevitably ending up taking the second event planning course as well. The knowledge that I gained and the people that I met during my time with Fraser Valley Continuing Education enabled me to leave my old job and start a new career with people who are passionate about offering the highest quality events possible, while still maintaining a positive and collaborative work environment.
