Description
Building a Solid Foundation in QuickBooks.
This is an introduction to the commonly used small business, cloud-based, accounting program QuickBooks Online.
Students will gain a basic familiarity with the program and how it works.
Using a scenario that mimics a simple small business, students will learn to:
- Navigate the program
- Enter and pay vendor bills
- Create invoices
- Receive payments
You will also be provided with an introduction to:
- Bank feeds
- Reconciliations
- Sales taxes
- Report generation
Please note:
QuickBooks Online is the version of the software, not the method of delivery; this is an in person class.
Course fee includes textbook.
Prerequisites:
Computer Basics Level Two or equivalent knowledge AND Bookkeeping and Introductory Accounting or basic bookkeeping and accounting knowledge.
