Description
Our ‘Colour and Light in Watercolour’ course or workshop invites artists of all skill levels to explore the foundations of light and colour in watercolour painting. Through guided demonstrations, focused exercises, and personalized feedback, participants will learn to understand colour theory, mix harmonious palettes, create luminous washes, and paint convincing shadows and highlights.
Each session will build practical skills while encouraging creative expression and confidence with the medium. This class is ideal for anyone wishing to strengthen their technique and enrich their artistic practice through light and colour.

Watercolour Brushes
- 1 size 12 round watercolour brush (synthetic or natural hair)
- 1 size 6 round watercolour brush (synthetic or natural hair)
Painting Board
- Coroplast or Masonite (12×16 min size)
General Supplies
- 2 plastic water containers
- Colour Wheel
- Graphite pencil (2H or HB)
- Masking Tape (min 1″ wide)
- Kneadable eraser
- Spray bottle
- Paper towels, soft rag, or small towel
Mixing Palette
- Plastic, ceramic or enamel (w/ paint mixing wells)
Watercolour Paper

- Block, sketchbook or loose sheet
