Investing 101

Description

We need our money to work hard so we won’t always have to. In this one-day class, you will learn about investment strategies ranging from TFSAs to RRSPs/RRIFs and RESPs, and about guaranteed investment strategies like laddered GICs and annuities to higher returns mutual funds, ETFs, bonds, and stocks. Your instructor will also teach you how to evaluate a stock or bond and find out if they are appropriate for your investment portfolio. You will also learn how taxes impact your investment returns.

Whether you are working towards retirement or already there, you will also have the opportunity to build your retirement plan with projections for you and your estate.
