She is a certified Red Seal Landscape Horticulturist and a Certified Organic Land Care Professional with diplomas and certifications from St. Clair College, Gaia College, University of Guelph and University of Florida. Retired instructor and course developer of numerous horticultural courses at Langara College, Douglas College, Gaia  College, VanDusen Botanical Gardens, Kwantlen College, Vancouver & Burnaby School Boards.
