Plein-Air Series

Description

Experience the creative energy of working outdoors in this welcoming plein-air drawing and painting class. Open to artists of all skill levels, our plein-air class focuses on observation, composition, perspective and capturing light and atmosphere on location.  Individual instruction and group demonstrations will support personal goals while fostering confidence and creative growth in a relaxed, inspiring outdoor setting. Participants are free to use any drawing or painting medium they choose.

• Coroplast or Masonite (12×16 min size)

General Supplies

• 2 plastic water containers
• Colour Wheel
• Graphite pencil (2H or HB)
• Masking Tape (min 1″ wide)
• Kneadable eraser
• Spray bottle
• Paper towels, soft rag, or small towel

Mixing Palette

• Plastic, ceramic or enamel (w/ paint mixing wells)

Watercolour Paper

• 140lb (300g)
• Block, sketchbook or loose sheet
