Description
This is an introduction to the commonly used small business accounting program, Quickbooks Online. Using a scenario that mimics a simple small business, students will learn the basics of the program, starting with entering vendor bills, creating invoicing, basic payroll, sales tax filing, and through the cycle to a bank reconciliation. Students will gain a familiarity with the program and how it works. This course covers how to use the program as a tool for bookkeeping, so completion of a bookkeeping course or comprehensive experience with accounting terminology and concepts is a required prerequisite.
Prerequisite: Computer Basics Level 2 and Bookkeeping knowledge. In addition, although not an absolute requirement, students should have a basic knowledge of bookkeeping or accounting.
Course fee includes a textbook and student version QuickBooks software.
A Certificate will be issued upon course completion.
