Building Service Worker (BSW) Saturday Class

THIS IS AN INCLASS COURSE, THIS COURSE IS NOT VIRTUAL

Trained custodians are always in demand! Upon completing this BSW Certificate course you will be qualified to seek employment as a building service worker in a wide variety of industries and businesses, including positions as school, hospital, and government building custodians. You will also be ready to start your own contract cleaning business, and be in a position to land cleaning contracts as many custodial positions change to ‘private contract’ jobs.

The course consists of a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on experience to train you in areas of cleaning, chemicals, equipment, floor and carpet care, public relations, safety, and business knowledge needed to calculate job requirements, and to complete successful quotes for cleaning jobs, if required. You will also complete the requirements for a WHMIS Certificate. Students must have a good command of the English language.

Please bring to class a highlighter pen and a scraper (putty knife). Register early to avoid disappointment.

Including all the same components of the Standard Program, this course offers students who cannot attend evening sessions a compressed Saturday option. Students must have a good command of the English language, and be prepared for a faster-paced course.

A Certificate will be issued upon successful course completion.
