Mindfulness can be practiced by almost anyone, and according to the Canadian Mental Health Association, the benefits are far-reaching.
Mindfulness is a skill that can learned and put to use immediately. This workshop opens the doors to that exploration. It is intended as an introductory course for those who are curious about mindfulness.
During the workshop we will explore what mindfulness is, what it is not, what its benefits are, and how to practice it. Group participation and discussion will be encouraged and facilitated in a supportive, encouraging environment. Students will learn and practice a number of different mindfulness techniques, including mindful eating, mindful meditation, and mindful movement. All written and audio materials
