Throw away everything you have read about what networking is because, in this high-energy workshop, you will discover some secrets to make your networking fun and meaningful. We will discuss what networking is and more importantly, what it isn’t – it doesn’t need to be as painful as you think it is!

As a result of attending this dynamic workshop, you will:

• Discover the true meaning of networking
• Understand how to increase business with effective networking
• Embrace the host spirit
• Be introduced to the key steps of successful networking
• Understand the value of a ‘friendly’ self-introduction versus an ‘elevator speech’
• Identify at least one new strategy to implement and improve your networking style
• Commit to follow up with your network

Handouts will be provided, but Students are asked to bring a pen and something to bring notes on.
