Description
Enjoy taking better photographs! This relaxed and enjoyable course will teach you the important basics of photography allowing you to take control of your camera and improve your images. The course has been designed for both film and digital camera users. You will learn about camera operations, exposure, composition, filters, lighting, and creative techniques. The course will also cover organizing and editing digital images.
Each week, students will be given an assignment designed to practice the topics covered in the classroom. Assignments will be shared and reviewed at the beginning of the next class. There will be a weekend field trip after the third classroom session, where you will put your new skills and knowledge into practical use. Your camera (digital or film) should be capable of manual settings. Please bring your camera and manual to class.
