Your Instructor, Amanda Jarrett, is one of the most experienced and respected gardening experts in B.C.

She is a  professional horticulturist and educator for over 20 years. Her business, Amanda’s Garden Consulting Company and website The Garden Website.com provides instruction to novice and avid gardeners as well as professional landscapers. She is a certified Red Seal Landscape Horticulturist and a Certified Organic Land Care Professional with diplomas and certifications from St. Clair College, Gaia College, University of Guelph and University of Florida. Retired instructor and course developer of numerous horticultural courses at Langara College, Douglas College, Gaia  College, VanDusen Botanical Gardens, Kwantlen College, Vancouver & Burnaby School Boards. Amanda is an avid gardener, freelance writer, lecturer, horticulture photographer and author of the successful book, Ornamental Tropical Shrubs published by Pineapple Press.
