From petals to pine, join us to design your floral holiday delights!
In this three session Christmas workshop, we will be learning useful, beginner friendly skills for all your Christmas decorating and gifting needs!

Skills learned will include:

  • How to wire just about anything into a floral arrangement
  • Working with evergreens
  • How to make a floral bow
  • How to paint and glitter florals!

In this hands-on class, you’ll make three amazing take-home projects including:

  • The Art of the Wreath – A full, round & rustic Christmas wreath
  • Center of the Season – A Christmas centerpiece
  • Yuletide Glow – A Christmas lantern arrangement (lantern included)

This class will prepare you for a joyful holiday season filled with meaningful, historical Christmas traditions—and empower you to create and give truly memorable gifts.

 

Please Note:
Product fee of $60 per class, payable directly to the instructor, not included in class price.
Your per class product fee will be payable by each Thursday before class.
If your payment has not been received, there will be no product for you to work with in class that week.

About Vanessa

Vanessa's floral education began in 2011, and she received her Floral Design Certification in Spring 2012 from University of the Fraser Valley. That same year, Vanessa graduated with her Event Planning Certification as well, and her hospitality career began. Vanessa's experience includes working in wedding & event décor, staging homes, designing wedding flowers for venues and working full time for five years in a local flower shop as the Head Designer and Manager. Design has been a huge part of her life for most of her 10+ year career and has a role to play in any creative job that she has.

Vanessa's goal with this class is to bring a fun, new perspective to an age-old art; proving that it is both timeless and customizable to every era, social climate, and individual personality. Her hope is for students to come away with valuable knowledge and real-life skills to use in their creative endeavors, and to encourage them to find their passion as she has with flowers and design.
