Do you love cookies and want to learn the art of decorating to make beautiful cookies any time of the year for gifts, fun, or even to sell? If you are overwhelmed, don’t know where to start, or fear royal icing, this cookie decorating for beginners course is for you. Join Liz for a fun and creative cookie-decorating class!
You don’t need any experience working with sugar cookies! Recommended for ages 10+.

• How to make sugar cookies that are no-spread and have crisp edges (demonstration).
• How to make consistencies of royal icing (demonstration and hands-on).
• How to pipe and decorate cookies, including wet-on-wet.
• Will cover basic skills like piping, flooding and decorating shapes.

Please note: You can pre-order a Take Home DIY Kit to practice your new skills at home after class. Kits are made-to-order and can be reserved by contacting the office. The deadline to order is 2 weeks before class. They are $30, payable to the instructor, and include 6 cookies, royal icings, royal icing bags and sprinkles. Please bring extra containers for DIY Cookies & Icing. No additional cookie cutter is included in this kit but can be purchased on-site – $4 each or 3 for $10. Kits must prepaid in advance. Once the office has confirmed there are still kits available, you will be given the e-mail for e-transfer directly to Liz.
