Description

This is an introduction to Sage 50, a desktop accounting software for small businesses with more complex accounting needs. Using a scenario that mimics a simple small business, students will learn the basics of the program, starting with entering vendor bills, creating invoicing, basic payroll preparation and remittance filing, sales tax filing, and through the cycle to bank reconciliation. Students will gain a familiarity with the program and how it works.

PREREQUISITE: Computer Basics Level 2 AND Bookkeeping and Introductory Accounting Level 1 OR basic Bookkeeping and Accounting knowledge. This program is a tool for bookkeeping, not a bookkeeping course itself.

Course fee includes a textbook and a student version of Sage 50 software.

A Certificate will be issued upon course completion.
