During this practical, information-packed course you will learn step-by-step procedures for preparing and maintaining payroll records.
The course also includes a detailed review of Employment Standards rules, and WorkSafe BC requirements as they pertain to payroll.

Join us to learn:

• How to calculate payroll including taxable, pensionable and insurable amounts
• CPP, EI and Income Tax
• Prepare remittances
• Prepare T4s and T4 Summaries
• How to complete Record of Employment (ROE) documents
• How to complete WCB documents

Please bring a pencil, eraser, and hand calculator to class – all other materials are included in your course fee.

 

Prerequisite:  Bookkeeping & Intro Accounting, or a working knowledge of Bookkeeping & Accounting

 

If you have selected a livestreamed class: The office will email you approximately ONE week before the class starts to inform you when you can pick up your books.  Pick-up location is in Langley.
Should you require your books to be mailed: A shipping fee of $24 will be charged.
