Cookie Decorating for Beginners

Decorators ages 10+ are invited to participate!

Do you love cookies and want to learn the art of cookie decorating?
Have you been wanting to learn how to make beautiful cookies?
Do you wish you could make gift-worthy cookies any time of the year for gifts, for fun, or even to sell?
If you are overwhelmed,  don’t know where to start, or fear royal icing, then this course is for you!

Your instructor will provide:
– Instruction on proper royal icing consistency
– Tips and tricks on correcting mistakes
– Guidance on proper techniques
– Follow-along demonstrations
– Steps to achieve professional looking cookies

• 6 decorated cookies
• Icing (5-8 colors, pre-bagged)
• Recipe for sugar cookies
• Recipe for royal icing
• Laminated transfer sheet (if any)
• Embellishments(if any)
• Complimentary cookie cutter
• Scribe

* Advent Cookie Class only: You will be decorating 12 cookies instead of 6. Cost for this class only $120

You have the option to pre-order a Take Home DIY Kit to practice your new skills at home after class.
DIY Kits are made-to-order and can be reserved by contacting the office; the deadline to order a Take Home Kit is 2 weeks before class.
DIY Take Home Kits are $30, payable directly to the instructor, and include:

• 6 cookies
• icings
• number guide
• embellishments
  (No additional cookie cutter or scribe is included in this kit but can be purchased on-site $4 each or 3 for $10)
  Please note: DIY Kits for Advent Cookies will be $50 and will include 12 cookies instead of 6
