Level 1 Business Writing Course Description
This course is ideal for anyone looking to improve their business writing skills. After completing this course, students will walk away with a better understanding of the importance of clear, concise business writing and gain confidence in applying their skills in their workplace or business.
Students will learn how to identify common grammatical errors and how to fix them and gain an understanding of the most common business writing, grammar principles and rules. The proper utilization of subjects and verbs, dangling and misplaced modifiers, adverbs and modifiers, and the passive voice will be examined. In addition, students will be given the tools necessary to craft clear, well-organized, compelling, and professional business correspondence, including business letters, texts, emails, meeting agendas, and outlines. Students will receive additional instruction on editing their writing for cohesiveness, focus, continuity, structure, and conciseness.

Passionate about seeing her clients reach their career dreams, Cathy has been helping job seekers land new opportunities, impress in interviews, and gain coveted promotions since 2013.
