Learn how to make your own Gouda cheese!  Paula has been teaching the lost art of homemade cheese for years, and will show you how easy it is to make your own pressed cheese.  Cultures and instructions to make your own wheel to age at home will be included in this taste, touch, feel demonstration-style class.  Paula will demystify the idea that cheese making is difficult, and will show you how to make your own delicious cheeses using store-bought milk.

This is a see/touch/taste demonstration-style class. Class is limited to 14 students. All equipment provided. Students receive notes and supplies to make more at home.

Paula’s classes are comprehensive, simple, and FUN! She travels all over North America to teach the joy of cheesemaking to both cooking professionals and home cooks, alike. She is a resident of British Columbia, and lives on Gabriola Island, near Nanaimo BC. Using products readily available, and demystifying the idea that cheese making is difficult, Paula teaches students how to create homemade cheese and dairy without commercial additives like artificial colours and thickeners.
