Course Overview
Microsoft Word is the most popular word-processing program in the world. If you wish to create letters, reports, documents, etc., Microsoft Word is the software most commonly used. This course is designed for students who desire the skills necessary to create, edit, format, and print basic Microsoft Word documents. It teaches students how to create and edit documents, apply formatting options, set tabs and indents, manipulate the text using features such as copy, paste, and preview, and then print the document.

– Selecting text for further action, such as formatting, deleting, copying, pasting, etc.
– Organizing, editing, and formatting your documents
– Changing the margins, paper size, and orientation for a document

Who Should Join
Those who have completed Computer Basics Level Two or have equivalent experience

For virtual classes, you will need:

  • A computer (PC or Laptop) with a webcam and microphone
  • Microsoft Office 365 subscription
  • Textbook pickup from FVCE Office, or contact to arrange mail-out at $20 + tax fee.

You attend at the regularly scheduled class time, this is not pre-recorded content. Livestreamed classes are EXACTLY the same content as the in-person class. Get exactly the same handouts, same exercises, and same interaction with your Instructor, as if you were in the same room with them.
